Looking for the latest and greatest baby gear? BabyFest NW has got you covered.

Disclosure: I was given free tickets to BabyFest in exchange for promoting the event and select vendors. I recently had the privilege of attending BabyFest NW in Portland, Oregon. This event is the perfect place to learn about the latest and greatest baby and toddler gear. Plus, it is always fun to get some free swag. There were so many things to see and fun products to try out.

Fit4Mom

Fit4Mom is a work out especially made for moms. They offer everything from prenatal fitness to stroller workouts that enable you to bring your kiddos along. What an amazing resource for busy moms! I am hoping to try out a few classes.Another great benefit of this program is ‘Our Village’. According to the Fit4mom website, “Our Village supports all moms, in all stages of motherhood. Each month activities are scheduled in your local area. Moms Night Out, playgroups, book clubs, family events, charitable events, and more are offered depending on your interests!”

Luna Massage

After your workout you can head over to the lovely ladies at Luna Massage. A place of healing, relaxation and holistic wellness for pregnancy, postpartum, babies and kids. They offer chiropractic care, acupuncture, massage therapy, holistic pelvic care and more. One of the greatest benefits is The Sprout Center, which offers complimentary childcare while mom is being treated. The Sprout Center is open from 9:00-1:00 Tuesday – Friday and reservations are recommended. I am looking forward to checking out their massage services in the future.

It Works

Still in the same vein as fitness, I was able to meet Nicole from It Works. I thought It Works only had body wraps but they actually have a wide range of products including beauty care, vitamins and shakes. I was able to try the energy drink and it was delicious. I have never used these products but from what I can tell they look like they are high quality.

100% Pure

After having my daughter I became much more aware of the chemicals found in every day items. I wish I had known about 100% Pure when I was pregnant! Their products are 100% natural, gluten and soy free and they do not do any animal testing. Plus, everything smells amazing! If you are looking for a natural alternative to chemical filled beauty products, definitely check them out.

Ardo

In need of a high quality breast pump? Ardo has a lot to offer. This product is made in Switzerland and has only been been sold in the US for two years. Their machines are top of the line. Their customer service line has lactation consultants ready to help you with your machine. They are also compatible with most insurance companies, which make them an affordable.

Re-Play Tableware

Re-Think It, Inc. was founded by husband and wife team Craig and Amy Shumway. In 2011, Re-Think It unveiled the Re-Play line of infant and toddler dishware. This dishware is made out of recycled HDPE plastic, other wise known as, milk jugs. Because they use recycled materials, it lessens the amount of plastic added to the landfill and uses less energy.Plus, these products can be recycled again! Re-Play products are free from BPA, BPS, PVC, lead, phthalates and melamine. I have a set ordered for my munchkin and I am sure they will get plenty of use.

Macaroni Minx

First off, I have to say that Jodi the creator of Macaroni Minx, had the most eye catching display at the event. And she did it all herself. 10 years ago Jodi wrote ‘The Pregniosarus‘. An adorable book that is the perfect gift for a mama who is expecting. Over time she has continually added more cute items to her brand. Including personalized greeting cards. Jodi’s adorable products would make the perfect baby shower gift!

Kangaroo Karry

This is a new baby carrier designed by a husband and wife team. They created the Joey Wrap, which is currently the ONLY infant & baby wrap carrier with a pocket. They also have the Little Hopper, which grows with your child, from 4 months to 4 years.Similar to a hiking backpack, the weight is carried around your waist instead of your shoulders. I love the fact that the baby seat can be used to carry your kiddo on your hip. Perfect for those times when your arms just need a little break but you don’t need the full carrier. I was able to test out the Little Hopper and I would say this carrier is definitely worth trying out.

Seahorses PDX

This is a shop dedicated to dads, and it’s awesome. They have some of the coolest baby gear I have ever seen. “Our welcoming space on SE Hawthorne offers an enclosed play space with seating, free wifi, and complimentary coffee, tea, hot cocoa and water. Seahorses offers a versatile multi-use space for classes, events, and workshops. Our calendar is full of family-friendly events as well as those that cater specifically to modern dads and their kids.”Mom’s are welcome of course, but Don, the shop owner told me that he really wanted to provide a safe place for dad’s to go as they navigate parenthood. I can’t wait to visit the shop with my hubby.

There are a few more businesses that I believe are worth checking out. It was wonderful to connect with each of them.

They do the printing in their shop and can make custom shirts for you. They are one of our new favorite brands!Cute As a Button Baby Boutique is an adorable baby boutique found in West Linn, Oregon. One of the funnest moments of the event was the giveaways. There were some amazing prizes! I was excited to be able to hand out the prizes to the winners.
