Keeping my family hydrated on the go is simple with the help of Hydro Flask.
Staying hydrated is so important for our health and well being. Yet, it is rarely made a priority. Over the past few years our family has made it a point to stay hydrated both at home and on the go. Hydro Flask has made this much more doable and I am excited to share how.
My husband and I first heard about Hydro Flask from a family member in Hawaii. They told us it is a must have and was the only type of water bottle they will use. It sounded great, but we continued to use our plastic water bottles. That is, until the day I found mold growing in my lid and straw. Talk about disgusting!
My husband and I bring our Hydro Flasks with us everywhere. And I do mean everywhere. Any time I leave the house I make sure I have it with me.
What makes Hydro Flasks so special?
Hydro Flasks are made with what they call TempShield™. Which is a double walled and vacuum insulated technology that helps to maintain the temperature of your liquids. Cold drinks can stay cold for up to 24 hours. Hot drinks can stay hot for up to 6 hours. And the best part is, there is no condensation or heat transfer to the outside of your container.
All of their products are made with 18/8 pro-grade stainless steel. This helps to protect against flavor transfer. So if you use your container for coffee one day and and water then next, the coffee taste will not linger. They are also BPA-free and phthalate-free. Another plus for us is that their home base is located in Bend, Oregon. One of our families favorite places to visit.
It is also helpful for the environment. Using a reusable water bottle rather than a disposable water bottle helps to keep the plastic out of land fills. Not to mention the fact that it can save you over $200 a year.
New additions to our collection
The 64 oz. Bottle
Our family loves to go on weekend adventures. Sometimes we end up being gone all day and have to refill our water bottles on the go. I am pretty picky when it comes to the quality of our water. With the 64 oz container we are able to refill our water bottles with cool refreshing water that we brought from home. This bottle is going to be a life saver for our summer hikes and adventures.
The 12 oz. Bottle
My daughter has always had her own water bottle and we felt like she was ready to move up from a straw sippy style cup, to her very own Hydro Flask. This 12 oz. bottle is just the right size. The sports cap makes drinking water easy for her. She now brings her special water bottle with her everywhere she goes, just like mom and dad.
We tested out our 10 ounce cups on a warm sunny day, with a refreshing adult beverage. The first thing I noticed is that I was able to hold my cup with out my hands getting cold. The second was that my hands stayed dry since there is no condensation. It really made for an enjoyable drink experience.
These cups are definitely one of our new favorite things and I know they will get plenty of use this summer and beyond! I am counting these cups as one of my husband’s Father’s Day gifts.
We love our Hyrdo Flasks!
I have recommended them in earlier posts, before we ever received sponsored product. And I will continue to recommend them in the future. Having their water bottles has made staying hydrated on the go so much easier for my family. As a mom it is nice to have one less thing to worry about. Be sure to give their products a try, you won’t regret it.
