Street of Dreams Portland 2016. Beautiful homes!
Looking for an event full of luxury and inspiration?
Look no further, this years NW Natural Street of Dreams is the place for you! My parents would take my siblings and I every year. Walking through the beautiful homes as a young person was always such a treat. Now as an adult I want to carry this tradition on with my children.
If you don’t have children or want to have a little break from the kiddos, the Street of Dreams is the perfect place for a fun date or outing with friends. Check out the Street of Dreams website for directions, ticket prices and the special events calendar. There are many fun events to choose from including 3 chef series and a fashion show.

The drive out to Pete’s Mountain (how cool is that name!) is a beautiful experience within itself. Parking for the event is located in a nearby field. There is a bus that can transport you to the ticket office and event opening. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as there is quite a bit of walking. Most homes only require that you wear the provided booty covers over your shoes. One house does require shoes off and the booty covers on your feet. It helps if your shoes are easy to take on and off.
If you bring the kids and want to use a stroller make sure it is lightweight for easy transport if you use the shuttle bus. Strollers will need to be left outside of the houses. Baby wearing is a great option, I used my Tula. This was a life saver! We allowed Genevieve to walk toward the end of our outing but it was much harder to enjoy the house and keep the munchkin in check at the same time.
Our favorite things!
With out further ado, here are our favorite show highlights!
